Dr. Waldman

Since founding New Concepts Dental Group of Billerica, Massachusetts in 1973, Dr. Richard Waldman has offered top-quality family dental care to three generations of patients. An expert in cosmetic makeovers, dental implants and endodontics (root canal therapy), Dr. Waldman has taken hundreds of continuing education courses over the years in order to advance his clinical knowledge and expertise. His training in smile makeovers, veneers, implant placement and restoration, endodontics and direct composite restorations has placed him on the cutting edge of his field.

Dr. Waldman obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1966 from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1970. After serving for 2 years in the US Army Dental Corp, Dr. Waldman opened the thriving New Concepts Dental Group where he still practices to this day. Along with Dr. Krefting and Dr. Epstein, colleagues for 29 and 26 years respectively, and a committed support staff of 18, Dr. Waldman has brought smiles to the faces of thousands of patients.

Dr. Waldman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the Merrimack Valley District Dental Society. An avid biker and marathoner, he enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and five grandchildren.
